Having already presented the only LP to date by duo Abfahrt Hinwil, Lapsus welcome back band member Martin Haidinger aka Gimmik for a super-special 20th anniversary edition of his 2001 release Slow Motion Process. As is characteristic of the Austrian producer’s output, the LP occupies the tentative space between meticulous detail and luscious sweeps, dappled in the shade of both analogue and digital approaches. Flickering beats poke out from empty spaces revealing a wealth of braindance rhythms, liable to morph into dub-infused beats on the likes of ‘Cabcrab’, while staying enigmatically ungraspable on the vinyl-only cut ‘Typologic’.
