Wave Function Records unveils the second entry in their new Wave Modulation Series with a new EP from braindance mainstay Martin Haidinger under his Gimmik moniker entitled Analog Dream Plants. Much like the first, the EP is otherwise comprised of variations on the title track, with Gimmik and cohorts all turning in excellent reworks that place it in a new light. Gimmik himself takes the original into emotionally hyperactive techno, while the closing remix from Sound Synthesis aims for a skyward, almost angelic acid boogie.
