Post-punk outfit The Durutti Column celebrate 25 years of their LP Time Was Gigantic…When We Were Kids with this deluxe reissue from the London Music Stream Ltd. imprint. Famously the final record Factory Records issues before their demise, Time Was Gigantic never really got the love it was due given its unfortunate circumstance, but this reissue rightfully restores all the glory. A tremendous influence on contemporary rockers who did hear it, tracks like ‘I B Yours’ and ‘For Rachel' fold Vini Reilly experimentalist whims into pop forms that stand with any of the group’s best works.
