Immersive, melancholy techno from two of German electronic musics leading lights. Released in the 2006, Orchestra of Bubbles showed German musician and BPitch Control founder Ellen Allien team up with musician Apparat once again (the pair had previously worked together on 2003's Berlinette) for a sublime distillation of both musician's sonic aesthetic. Working together over a short period, Apparat draws complex, granulated IDM shapes while Allien takes the rhythm-machine higher into emotionally resonant 4/4.
