Originally released in 1968, Bonnie and Clyde is a collaborative release from two extremely important French cultural icons; singer-songwriter, poet and director Serge Gainsbourg and the actress and singer Brigitte Bardot. Recorded during a rumoured mid-60’s fling, the release features the classic title track ‘Bonnie And Clyde’, a provocative, moody number that takes influence from the classic American outlaw story. ‘Comic Strip’ is a classic piece of playful, topsy-turvy French pop music where the duo flaunts their dynamic relationship.
