Following the success of the huge 2012 reissue It’s Cosy Inside, brothers Mark and Clive Ives aka Woo collate a selection of previously unreleased tracks from the 70’s and 80’s for another run out on Drag City entitled When The Past Arrives. Once again the duo show off their loveable incarnation of soft, gentle melodies that draw influence from ambient, new-age and krautrock. With each element carefully played, each track leads to a sense of contentment with the placid flow of ‘Distant Consequences’ and airy harmonies of ‘Life So Far’ blowing over you like a fresh breeze.
