Written in tribute to one of London's finest sweatboxes and home of Ploy's club night, Ploy’s new EP for his Deaf Test imprint captures the feeling within the walls of South London’s Venue MOT Unit 18. Like a rave teetering on the verge of chaos at peak time. The opening anthem ‘Stinky’ celebrates those midsummer heaters where the crowd has a certain, well... fragrance with its lyrics shouting out the early morning crew. The closing title track edges even closer to dubstep with neck-snapping half-time breakdowns that will test even the strongest sound systems. "Imagine the scene: whilst a deranged, malfunctioning robot MC yaps and undulates, vampires chase their victim through a packed rave, before feasting on flesh." Murder!
