Drum and saxophone duo @xcrswx and digital composer Lolina (Inga Copeland) land on the excellent Feedback Moves label for an untitled split 10”. Having previously collaborated on Lolina’s NTS Radio show back in 2020, @xcrswx’s half of the split entitled ‘FIXES’ reshapes and recalibrates the saxophone and firework addled sounds from the work they produced for Lolina’s residency. Lolina’s ‘FM’ on the flip side is a new work that pulls from field recordings and other found sounds which are subtly warped and frayed by turntables and other production touches.
