UK drum and bass and jungle luminary Tim Reaper makes his debut on the UTTU label with the third entry in their Cosmik Connection EP series. Keeping with the sci-fi theme, The Cosmik Connection, Vol. 3 kicks off with ‘Solar Flare’, the track most explicitly connected to space travel through astral amen breaks. The sci-fi connection comes through in Reaper’s production and sound design. It's there in the reverberated electric piano runs on ‘My Definition’ that recall shooting stars and it’s definitely in the sparkling, alien-like synth chords after the breakdown on ‘DJs In The Mix’.
