Archival field recordings processed into the standardised high-level, arctic temperature from one Geir Jenssen, otherwise known as ambient mechanic Biosphere.

While recent years have seen much activity in the way of archival material repackaged and remastered. This official presentation of The Hilvarenbeek Recordings steps sideways and finds Biosphere manipulating a vast ocean of found sounds and field recordings taken from an organic farm, Boerderij ‘t Schop in Hilvarenbeek.

These everyday atmospheres and echoes have been put through the Biosphere ambient factory to be given a new, ghostly lease of life. Infused with the endless, empty landscapes of Biosphere's most alien material, this is music as a form of transportation like no other.
