Bleep

As with many of the releases on Biophon Records, this one sees Biosphere Geir Jenssen combing the archives and emerging with some ancient tome. In this case we have a reissue that compiles the two records Jenssen made alongside the late Pete Namlook in 1993 and 2000 as The Fires Of Ork. These are strange, alien ambiences that often dally with psychedelic techno ala The Future Sound Of London and LFO. While at one moment the pair will conjure a trippy stargazing soundscape, that could soon be followed by a murky haze that is the sonic equivalent of trawling the ocean floor. Oddly compelling stuff.
