Tromso’s Insomnia Festival received a shock in May 2017 when organiser Christian Hollingsaeter died unexpectedly at the age of 35. Biosphere’s Biophon Records are now releasing a compilation of music in Christian’s memory with all the proceeds being donated to Hollingsaeter’s son. Biosphere contributes, as do 17 other artists including Autoband and Settlement. The tracks here cover a wide range of styles, from tender folk balladry (Pistol & Bart) to austere techno (Charlotte Bendicks & Boska).
