Astro:Dynamics say farewell with the third and final addition to Best Available Technology’s ‘Excavated Tapes’ series. We’ve been fans of BAT since 2013 or so, his music reminding us of that classic Chain Reaction sound but rather than just copying the palette Kevin Palmer is a rare example of somebody who has built upon it and created something altogether different. His music is a warm, enveloping experience that suits deep headphone listening as much as it does blown out car stereos (he’ll appreciate that). Top notch tracks here.
