Stockholm producer Quitland (Frida-Li Lovgren) releases an EP for Astro:Dynamics collecting together some of her recent work. The music on Sisto sees her approaching pop music from a left-field angle, bubblegum synths and glossy pads worked into fragile, breathless songs. 'Statuo' begins the release in cut-glass electronics, while 'Forever' is a mountainous piece of smudged synth stabs, exultant vocal samples buried deep in the mix before cavernous noise takes over towards the end of the track. The three part 'Fides' that closes the release is where she delivers her strongest work though, all three taken together creating an over 30 minute trip of glazed trance tropes reworked into music of captivating otherworldliness.
