The excellent Astro:Dynamics continues its stellar run in 2014 with this release from Swedish producer Quiltland. Lush, ethereal tones built inside a loose framework relative to the dancefloor, this album is a blissful journey through the varying tropes of house, techno and trance as seen in the mind of Frida-Li Lovgren. Think midi patches and artificial choral strains in the vein of Enigma or, more recently, Oneohtrix Point Never. The package is rounded off by a remix of 'Extension Class' by label-mate 1991.
