Bronze Teeth, the newly formed side project of Factory Floor’s Dominic Butler and Richard Smith aka L/F/D/M, drop their bombshell debut single, courtesy of Diagonal. Anyone familiar with their collective output and Diagonal’s excellent track record will know what to expect from the pair. ‘Tapeworm’ is unforgiving, unrelenting industrial techno, 12 minutes of steadily intensifying pulsation that grinds to a halt when you’ve just about had enough. The aptly titled ‘Acetone’ is a narcotic mix of fuzzy, petering analogue synths and teasing drums, while ‘Glass Tooth’, with its jungle rhythms and ominous oscillations, is all pay-off.
