This first release from London based Label Diagonal sees label boss Powell punch out four tracks, with a remix by Karl O'Connor aka Regis. Like a secret meeting between Suicide and Mika Vainio on a Norwegian winters night - the aesthetic here is deathly cold and sinister. With mechanical loops and sandpaper punctuations, fighting against a solo percussion that seems to pound out from a cold dank room, it sits between the improvised and the controlled, an argument between the instrument and the machine.
