Having been a core member of the Finders Keepers stable since day zero (his Glückskugel compilation is a firm favourite around here) Bruno Spoerri links up with the brilliant We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records for a reissue of the sci-fi sorcery of his and Reto Weber's 1978 underground classic The Sound Of The UFOs, available for the first time on wax since its original release, save yourself the current second-hand price tag of fifty notes plus and cop this freshly mastered and cut pressing!

With over 50 years experience in writing, recording and editing electronic music, the prolific Swiss artist Bruno Spoerri has done it all. This scarce 1978 LP for Gold Records is up there with some of his most innovative work, a heavily percussion led exploration into ‘future jazz’, we suppose you could call it. Taking his cue from the mysteries of space, time-travel and UFO’s, Spoerri also goes hard on the synth and vocoder action to take the album into even more futuristic territory. Definitely worth a look for any fans of the wider reaches of the kosmiche movement.
