Melbourne’s Air Max ‘97 demonstrates his versatility and unique approach to body music once again on this new five-track. The soundscape here is a whirl of hot modern club sounds - juke, trap, grime, Jersey and more are thrown together in a manner reminiscent of the best Fade to Mind has given us over the years. The levels are particularly high on the twitchy ‘Reduct’ and mutant trance of ‘3YE’, while ‘Suede’ and ‘Chalk’ demonstrate the producer’s command of space within his music.
