Anyone would think that long-standing contemporaries Sydney/Melbourne-siders Cop Envy and Melbourne-via-Lebanon producer DJ Plead were the best of friends. Hinged more than justifies the suspicion. Cranked out over three hot summer nights in a feverish mist of creativity, the EP sees the swaggering electronics of both parties hit fever pitch, but unlike less talented producers, the fruits of their labour appear exceptional in the light of day.
