Nacre is an imagined sound world where stark post-grime influences blend with musique concrete techniques and scattered arrangements to deliver some of the most forward thinking club gear we’ve heard in a while. Highlights include the claustrophobic vice grip of the oriental –leaning ‘Veneer’ as well as the polyrhythmic title track ‘Nacre’.
