Gonjasufi follows up 2016's Callus with a multifaceted collection of remixes, cover versions and original music entitled Mandela Effect.
Taking its title The Mandela Effect, "a recent phenomenon in which experiencers claim to be living in a reality slightly different from the one they remember" this seems like the most fitting way to describe this patchwork collection of rewired reworkings of Gonja's latest and greatest.
Calling on friends from across the board, instant choice chops include Massive Attack's Daddy G with his radioactive retake of Your Maker, Shabazz Palaces' motorik dub of Afrikan Spaceship & Moor Mother's take on The Kill.
Elsewhere though, gold is unearthed when the lesser known names taking centre stage. L.A. Club Resource's Innyster turns in a killer cosmic punk techno version of Maniac Depressant whilst his cold wave cover version of Portishead's Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man's Show is a scene stealer.
An incredibly well mapped out variety of sounds and selectors that each gives a different angle while perfectly complimenting Gonjasufi's original ideas. Something to really sink your teeth into this one!
