A producer with multiple facets to his unique output, here we find Om Unit in his down tempo synth warrior stance. ‘Friend of Day’ rolls on and on and on, and could easily fit somewhere in the Kavinski featured, Drive soundtrack. On the b-side, ‘Basement Superman’ is a busy breaker, with multiple loops and infrequent sounds conspiring together. A Dubby synth line and flanged out shuffling hi-hats are the highlights of the tune.
