Daisy Moon’s Geometry Of Curves is an unusual and impressive debut from the Bristolian producer. These tracks exist at the nexus of club music and art-pop, immediacy and abstraction. While their off-kilter, low-slung grooves recall Parris, the woozy tones Daisy Moon employs here nod to the sound of D. Tiffany and Planet Euphorique. Throw in some wistful programming reminiscent of Khotin and vocals that lilt away in the background and you’ve got a delightfully curious opening statement.
