On Flux Bristol-based producer Jim Coles aka Om Unit offers a set of uptempo Broken Beat, Garage and Electro cuts crying out for the dance floor. Opening with an ambient wash offering “Reflection. Image. Knowledge.” Flux soon explodes into the skittish ‘Angles’ and Dub Techno single ‘Ramp.’ Hybrid rhythms crossing dub, footwork and garage follow before ‘Autumn Shadows’ brings the EP full circle into ambient reflection, highlighting the heavily processed synth textures that permeate the entire track-list.
