Amsterdam-based producer Ruben Üvez has turned heads with a run of releases on Nous’klaer Audio. Idle Hands feels like a logical next step for the producer, and both label and artist prove a good fit for each other on the Lila EP. This record is full of the sort of bass-led techno tunes that Idle Hands has made a name for itself with the past couple of years - B-sides ‘Bola’ and ‘Caduata Di Massi’ feature some particularly chunky basslines that nicely offset the chirruping in the mid- and high-range frequencies.
