New reissue of an all-time minimalist classic from Japanese sound artist and Fluxus movement member Yoshi Wada, utilising organ and bagpipe drones via tape manipulation and experimental percussion - recorded in 1984 in Berlin and released on Peter Brötzmann’s FMP label. Don’t let the bagpipe credits put you off though, as this sounds like the wildest Terry Riley Persian Surgery-era improv piece you might not have ever heard. Keeping it in the family, this reissue comes two years after Saltern put out the debut vinyl release from Wada’s son Tashi. 20 minute long full-siders for maximum zonk out inducing auditory pleasure!
