This is the Arthur Russell album 24 - 24 Music that was basically a full length jam originally released in a limited screen printed form on Sleeping Bag records in 1982, a classic mix of downtown jazz and uptown disco. The original album is cleaned up for this cd release, with the extra-disco brilliance of the Francois Kevorkian mix of Clean on the Bean, a mix of Go Bang and a Larry Levan mix of Corn Belt. This is superb stuff from an artist who's posthumous reappraisal is totally deserved.
