Some Berlin techno heavyweights join forces for this collaborative soundtrack work that aims to reinterpret photographer Friederike von Rauch’s architectural studies. Marcel Dettmann and Felix K are joined by Sa Pa and Simon Hoffmann and assemble an extraordinary forty minute journey that takes in elements of drone, dark ambient and subtle harmonics whilst the ‘implied rhythms’ hold a steady pulse that will leave the listener in a trance like state. Welcome addition to the small collection of far-flung gallery sonics that we’ve had in this year.
