Fluxion returns with more submerged sounds, marking the latest chapter in his Vibrant Forms series.
Fluxion was one of the cornerstones of the submerged sounds of the legendary Chain Reaction imprint, having turned in two timeless compilation albums for the Basic Channel related imprint (Vol. 1 recently reissued by Type & Vol1. 2 by Subwax) his sound has become a pinnacle of the 4 x4 dub axis.
Step into 2016 and whilst many of his peers have either disappeared off into more album orientated formats, rougher terrain or for some just vanished into obscurity until someone awakens them and they spill forth melodic gold. Fluxion has always stuck to his guns and these latest discs of smokey, deep dwelling sounds do much to cement him as one of the go-to names for frosty, echospace techno.
While the script hasn't changed since he first started out in the late 90s, Vibrant Forms III truly is one of the most immersive listening experiences you are gonna hear in 2016, alongside new editions from Shinichi Atobe & Porter Ricks it seems like all the classic CR crew are coming back in full force, just in time for the coldest season.
