MG is Martin Gore, an English singer songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, producer, remixer, and DJ. He is a founding member of Depeche Mode. In recent times he has collaborated with Vince Clarke (Yazoo, Erasure) as VCMG. In April 2015, Mute records released a 16 track instrumental-electronic LP humming with the filmic echoes of Badalamenti, Vangelis, half-remembered science-fiction dreams. This special 12”, issued in darkest October, features a fine remix proposition – Mancunian noise maker Andy Stott, long-term collaborator Christoffer Berg and finally veteran Austrian techno don Virgil Enzinger who re-works the track, ‘Brink’. Elsewhere on the double-12, Gore serves up a pair of brand new cuts which didn’t surface on the LP.
