St. Petersburg producer Dmitry Kuzmin, aka Nuage, lines up a sparkling mini-album for leftfield electronic / beats label Project Mooncircle. Neida is supposedly inspired by a fantastical fairy tale involving mystic forests, foggy mountains, and ghostly villages, but you don’t really need to know the concept behind the record to enjoy it: Nuage’s glistening instrumental compositions and celestial beats are enough to get wrapped up in by themselves. The biggest surprises on here come in the form of ‘Neida’ and ‘Overflow’, both of which feature contributions from Russian harpist Olga Maximova.
