Record Store Day release for Smalltown Supersound. Runddans is the collaboration between the experimental singer-songwriter Todd Rundgren, Norwegian electronic, cosmic-disco producer Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and Emil Nikolaisen of the psychedelic rock outfit Serena-Maneesh. The collaboration came out of Rundgren’s 2012 remix of Lindstrøm’s track 'Quiet Place To Live'. This release, recorded in Oslo in 2012, consists of one track broken down into 12 different parts, the outcome being an ethereal, joyous selection of cosmically imbued, happy disco tunes with excitable guitar riffs and rolling synths. Highlights include the feel-good 'Put Your Arms Around Me' and the super trippy grooves in 'Wave Of Heavy Red (Disko – Nektar)'.
