Bleep

This EP is an introduction to Dosh and Ghostband’s genre-meddling sound. With flashes of minimalist techno, industrial bass and - sometimes euphoric sounding - IDM, the release is truly in it’s own field. The dial-up opening and subsequent hi-hat on Bristol Bounce exists comfortably alongside 13 minute plus epics like Tet A Tet and Twin Speak. The duo swing between ecstasy and treachery with a sound that has definitely come from the Minnesota basement they record in. At times it feels live and at other times it feels almost clinically computerised. Either way, this EP showcases a sound that can break speakers and stretch minds.
