New project from Raleigh Moncrief released through L.A. based Anticon. It would seem that this new alias has gifted Moncrief some breathing space as the creative aimlessness and explorative spirit of this release is unmissable. Turning in 7 tracks with a small running time and a limited vinyl pressing of 500 copies. Through all the metallics swathes, off-kilter beat patterns and trippy melodies, Moncrief indisputably pins down a sound that belongs to Campsite. A heady fusion of paper-thin R&B, spiky guitar pop and esoteric electronica all left to simmer.
