Brooklyn producer Ital returns to Planet Mu for Endgame, his follow-up to 2012's Hive Mind. A 10-track exploration in heady electronics, the album sees Ital traverse a broad landscape of sounds and emotions, bolstering his liquid vision with murk and fuzz. Tracks ebb and flow with smooth acidic textures while the overall effect is swarmed in foggy haze. From the metallic storm of the ironically titled opener 'Relaxer' to the haunting bells of the title track, it's an unsettling yet powerful listen. Tracks such as 'Whisper In The Dark', 'Dancing' and 'Concussion' are perfectly club ready, yet retain enough heart to work on headphones. The album is a veritable success for Ital, who shows his Endgame is tight.
