The young drummer and increasingly prolific producer Zach Saginaw has become famed for his genre splicing, stitching together ambient with hiphop, jazz with folk. On the first single from the LP, ‘Detroit Part 1’, we see jazzy licks underscored by shuffly, live percussion from the Detroit beatsmith.
