Still Strange is the second archival release of murky bedroom recordings from the lesser-spotted Orior. These tracks were laid down in two periods - four date from the late 70s while the rest were recorded in the early 90s. The earlier tracks are strange yet inviting post-punk collages that have shades of Eno & Byrne’s My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts to them. However, the later work stands in stark contrast to the 70s tunes - Entries such as ‘Endless’ and ‘Unknown Future’ are the sort of grainy, disconcerting drones that have become increasingly popular in the years since. Still Strange is a record of two very different moods.
