Following their first album in 2019, François J. Bonnet AKA Kassel Jaeger and Stephen O’Malley return with the second instalment of their rumbling, wide reaching sonic experimentations. Tangible vibrations spear through the mist on Cylene II: icy foghorns and metallic breath are provided by a wind quintet on ‘Four Rays (Anti Divide)’, with eerie gargantuan tones soon evolving into something gentle and spectrally wonderful, while electrifying guitar strums light up the veil of fluctuating textures on ‘Ghosts of Precognition’.
