Music From Memory are soon to issue the follow up to their superb 2016 compilation Outro Tempo. Where that record focussed on Electronic And Contemporary Music From Brazil 1978-1992, the new edition will look at the period 1984-1996. To whet the appetite MFM are releasing the two-track teaser Single Promocional. Bruhaha Babelico’s ‘Bruhaha II’, a murky bit of psychedelic minimal wave, takes up the A-side. On the flip we get the discordant art-pop number ‘Eyes’ by Individual Industry. Both of these tracks won’t appear on the full Outro Tempo release, but if anything this makes them all the more vital. Those who’ve been impressed with what the Stroom label are doing at the moment should turn their attention towards Single Promocional.
