Dutch label Music From Memory celebrates their tenth birthday with a new compilation featuring artists and producers that have been around since their inception either literally or spiritually. Circulating the globe and steeped in almost every flavour of electronic music you’ve ever heard, the comp pulls in artists from 10 different countries working within at least as many genres, serving as a perfect survey of the label’s past, present, and future. From the soothing ambience of Terekke’s ‘Just Ducking Around’ to the hulking low end of RAMZi’s ‘baci’, Music From Memory has something here for every kind of listener. 10 also serves as a fitting tribute in the wake of label co-founder Jamie Tiller’s tragic passing earlier this year.
