Though he never really seems to go away, Ariel Pink is back with another album. His 11th, to be precise. It’s all going to be about this LA singer-songwriter Bobby Jameson, someone everyone presumed dead for 35 years until he resurfaced a decade ago. The record is going to be called Dedicated to Bobby Jameson, and this is the first single. ‘Another Weekend’ does a nice shift between 4/4 and triple-time for the chorus; ‘Ode to the Goat (Thank You)’ is sort of like playing every Panda Bear record at once.
