Mark Stewart’s agit-prop Art-Punk deviants have been terrorizing bass-bins since the post-punk era. For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder? is their second studio album. It was released on March 21, 1980, through the record labels Rough Trade and Y. This sparkling new –well overdue- reissue is handled by Freaks R Us, for the first time ever on digital. The lyrical politics may have diluted by the passage of time, but the funky, chicken-scratch guitar, post-disco bass and screaming scrawling Stewart has lost none of its vital energy. Great primer to this incredible act.
