Tropic of Cancer, now a solo project of Camella Lobo, returns to Blackest Ever Black with the Stop Suffering EP, her first release for the label since her 2013 album Restless Idylls. Lyrically Lobo deals with the gradual decay of a relationship, set against gothic pop songwriting and ghostly textures. Songs like title track ‘Stop Suffering’ sound haunted and distant, while ‘I Woke Up And The Storm Was Over’ is frail and wafer thin.
