Jan St Werner, better known as one half of German electro duo Mouse On Mars, returns to Thrill Jockey with the third instalment of his acclaimed Fiepblatter series. The soundtrack to a work originally conceived as a stage production and radio play, the Miscontinuum Album combines hellish operatic compositions with spoken word passages, reflecting obliquely on the paradoxes of time and the self. Not for the faint-hearted, this is high-concept art with a restless, demonic core.
