The Utrecht-based duo The Connection Machine were a scene lynchpin in the ever-eclectic Dutch techno scene of the 90’s. Centred around the famed U-Trax label, the duo started off under a variety of aliases before issuing 1995’s Blackhole EP, their first truly artistic statement of purpose. A fascinating and highly influential slice of downtempo, tracks like ‘Space Cadets On Leave’ still sound beamed in from some distant future. U-Trax is finally bringing this classic release back to vinyl alongside a slate of remixes both new and old as well as two companion EPs The Connection Machine released in its wake.
