Ital continues to cross-pollinate the world of lo-fi post-punk and deep dubby decadent disco with the project that started it all. Mi Ami is the collaborative mission from Daniel Martin-McCormick (Ital) and Damon Palermo (Magic Touch) usually reserved for the likes of Thrill Jockey but now making an appearance on Ital's home-sweet-home, 100% Silk. Aimed at those intoxicated moments of the night, it's some of their best work yet, a dramatic blend of shiny disco debauchery and icy post-punk strut. Recommended.
