Tom Krell's bleeding edge vocal has been encircling the 2.0 blogzone for a little while now, here in January 2011 Tri Angle (ooOOoo, Balam Acab) have managed to secure these startling tracks for a wider consumption. This is soul music dredged backward through grubby banks of compression, digital distortion and hiss. In a gutter of gloom do these songs sit, Krell's heartbreaking voice pushing up on higher through the murk, to the other side, to R&B re-imagined for the Witch House kids.
