For many of us, the first few weeks of the global pandemic made an alien landscape out of the familiar; to venture outside — to the supermarket, to the post office, for a stroll in the park — was to tread into unknown territory, where the presence of another human became a notable event where once it was the norm. AboutFace’s °s approaches the emptied urban scape as natural phenomenon; each ounce of chatter, street ambiance and rarely heard train station tannoy announcement transformed into audio cues for AboutFace’s lush biome of rhythms, synths and guitars singing in kind.
