Riffing off of production work with Fever Ray and The Knife as well as a lifetime of sonic exploration, Olof Dreijer’s latest EP continues the return to his solo career. Coral highlights the playful melodies he wrote with Fever Ray (inspired by the signature steel drums of The Knife detailed further in 2023’s Souvenir EP with Mount Sims): the title track lifts slippery synths from the ruckus of Radical Romantics and drops them in a bright leftfield techno playground. Flurries of piano notes meanwhile breeze through ‘Flora’ and ‘Hazel’, with vocal-like synth susurrations gliding alongside.
